Gender-Neutral... what next?

I am one of those girls that never wanted to wear pink, or anything "pretty". Nothing girlie for me. When I fell pregnant, my family laughed non-stop, cos madam here had to go out and buy pink. I loved dressing her in pretty dresses, even though now she is a fashionista all on her own. Having the options as a child, broadened her mind to her thought possibilities.
At the end of the day, there are classic icons like Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn and even James Dean that people will talk about forever. They are the epitome of elegance, style and ruggedly yummy. The generation we seem to be creating in our children, and even grandchildren, seem to fall so far from that.
With this new gender-neutral, its like an excuse to dress as unflattering as possible. Where has the style gone from fashions. How are we ever going to look at someone and say, "Wow he is so refined". Instead we will say, is that a girl or a bloke. I can imagine some saying, does it matter! Of course it matters....
Zombie apocalypse is what is being created. Children who are probably always looking down at their technology and all dressed the same, wandering the streets. At least we probably don't have to worry about having our daughters kidnapped, because they might just be mistaken for a boy.
I sincerely hope that all the real fashion designers have enough influence to safe our youth. To bring back some style in the fashions. A man in a suit with his glamorous lady on his arm, will far outweigh a man and woman in matching suits. Or even worse, glamorous evening gowns.
