Workings of Mom's Brain

Wake up, sit up, get out of bed. Time to make coffee.

Walk downstairs, wait... stop and kiss daughter good morning, pat the dog.

Come into the kitchen.... wow it wasn't cleaned last night.

Lets pack the dishwasher.... oh yes the cats need to be fed.

Need to open the bag of cat food.... scissors, wherefore art though. Lets just use a knife.

Ok, bag is open, cats are fed......

Oh yes the dishwasher.... ooh the counter is so dirty.

Wipe down the counter..... the cats desiccated the catnip all over the counter ...

Lets clean that up.

Oh yes the counter..... wipe wipe wipe. Pack dishes in the dishwasher.

Oh yes, I came to make coffee.....

Take the cups out, put the coffee in, hot water, take milk from the fridge.

Oh the milk is low.... lets get one out the freezer.

Open the freezer box, take the tray out to get to the milk.

Oh the tray is slightly empty.....

Take meat from the bottom of the freezer box and put it in the tray.

Milk goes in the zink to defrost.

Oh yes the milk needs to go in the coffee.

Coffee is now made.

Oh yes, finish packing the dishwasher.... put dishwasher on.

Wipe down the counter again.

Oh flip the cats had a fight on the dining room table last night, and some plants went flying.

Lets sweep that up....

Oh shame this poor plant is completely out of its soil.

Lets pick up the soil put it back in the pot and replant.... hope it survives.

Oh flip there is sand all over the floor.... lets sweep that up

Oh yes the coffee.....

Take the coffee upstairs..... I should write an article on this.

Back downstairs to fetch the laptop.... back to bed

Start up laptop...

Oh check, I have an email from a prospective job.... log in check it out

Oh check, I have a whatsapp message..... lets respond to that

Oh yes, I wanted to write this article

Sit down to write this article......

And all I wanted to do was get up and make coffee..... drinking it while writing
