Job Hunting.... Energy =D

I find myself in the market looking for work, finishing up at the end of the month.

No this is not an article how to be positive, blah blah blah. Yes it is stressful!!

It goes without saying though that what we give out is what we generally get back. Albeit that you want to put your head in the sand and cry your lungs out... life does go on with or without you.

I have an agent that is out looking for work for me, but in the interim I am writing my fabulous blog and job hunting in between. At this stage there is no opportunity that I am not investigating.

So off I went yesterday to an interview. I did of course investigate the company and they seemed like they are in a happening space. The salary is a lot less than what I am currently earning so I had my reservations.

Well to say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. It was one of the best interviews I had ever found myself in. Possibly because I had no expectations, I wasn't as nervous as I generally am. Albeit that my technical knowledge is not top of the pops, I think it went off really well.

The point of it all, was that my energy got me good feedback. I went in with reservations, but a positive outlook as the possibilities of the position.

Now the wait to hear if all the energy gets me the job.... that is another story all together!!!
