Slaves to ..... Debt!!

Have you ever written down all your total amounts due and thought..... what the freaking heck!!
Do we actually know how much in debt we really are? Yes we know how much we owe on our cars, well kind of.
Possibly also aware how much of our bond we still need to cover. What about all the other little accounts, credit cards and loans that we systematically pay each month.
Well I just did, and nearly platsed..... It is such a reality check. That I was actually worth all that debt is another thing all together. I struggle to imagine the car I could purchase cash for that money.
The next best step is to work out a plan to get rid of some of it. My hubby has been saying (for quite some time I will admit), to each month pay off one account. Which of course is easier said than done. I so wish I had right now.
My plan now is put that in motion. Giving myself hopefully not more than six months to take back some control of my finances. I don't do new year's resolutions, because who really sticks to those. If I did this would be it.... not that I am going to bum out at the first chance. Rather to take the first step... which is exactly what I have just done.
